Honor has officially released the Honor X20 SE smartphone in China, following several leaks and rumours. The smartphone includes a 6.6-inch Full-HD+ display, triple back cameras, a MediaTek Dimensity 700 CPU, and a 4,000mAh battery with fast-charging capability. Honor X20 SE Price in India 

Magic Night Black, Blue Water Emerald, Titanium Silver, and Cherry Pink Gold are the colours available for the Honor X20 SE. In China, Honor X20 SE with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage costs CNY 1,799 (about Rs 20,693).  The top-of-the-line model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage costs CNY 1,999 (Rs 22,994). On July 9th, the smartphone will go on sale for the first time in China. At this time, no information about the handset’s global availability has been released.

This time Honor has come up with a new design with Honor X20 SE and there is a triple camera setup housed in a vertical module on the top left side. Speaking of the appearance on the back, it’s quite different from the previous smartphones from the brand. The front side if featuring a mini punch-hole for housing the selfie camera and the bezels are very minimum around the screen. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and the rear panel is made of plastic along with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The overall look is superb and the smartphone is weighing below 200 grams making it comfortable for single-handed usage. 

Honor X20 SE sports a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with a 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution. The phone has a screen-to-body ratio of 94.2 per cent and Honor has skipped a higher refresh rate in the X20 SE and offered it with a normal refresh rate. 

Honor X20 SE is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. It is available with 8GB or 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal memory, and the ability to increase storage through a microSD card. Magic UI 4.0, which is based on Android 11 OS, comes preloaded. 5G+5G dual card dual standby, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm audio port are among the connectivity options.

Honor X20 SE has a triple-camera array with a 64-megapixel primary lens featuring an f/1.9 aperture. This is accompanied by a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture and a 2-megapixel macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture. A 16-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture is offered by the company in the Honor X20 SE.

As for the battery, there is a 4000 mAh battery for managing the power requirements and apart from that, Honor X20 SE sports 22.5W fast charging. According to the company, the battery is decent enough to last for 52 hours of online music, 11 hours of videos and 10 hours of online gaming. For connecting the charger, there is a Type-C charging port. 

If there is something missing in the Honor X20 SE, it’s the higher refresh rate and a powerful chipset. Also, there is no ultra-wide-angle camera included in the camera arrangement, which becomes another glitch. If there is 5G support offered by the Honor X20 SE at the given price tag, other sections have been stripped. So, there are other options available in the market with a much better spec sheet than the Honor X20 SE.
