2. Your bank-registered mobile number SIM card must be put into the same handset with an active internet connection.
3. Google Pay must be installed on your friend’s or relative’s phone, and at least one bank account added.

5. Ask your friend or family individual to send you their Google Pay QR code.

How to Transfer Money from PhonePe to Google Pay using UPI ID

You can use PhonePe to transfer money from PhonePe to Google Pay by entering their Google Pay UPI ID.

1. Launch the PhonePe app on your smartphone. Use a fingerprint or a PIN to enter the app.
2. Select the “To Account” option from the PhonePe app’s home screen.
3. The recipient’s UPI ID must then be entered in the search box. Ask about your friend’s or relative’s Google Pay UPI ID.
4. Then, to verify the UPI ID, tap on it.
5. To get the name of the UPI ID holder, use the “VERIFY” button.
6. The Registered Name linked with the UPI ID can now be viewed. To transfer money to Google Pay, tap the SAVE button at the bottom of the page.
7. Enter the amount you want to transfer money from phonepe to google pay. Then, select the bank account from which the money will be deducted.
8. At the bottom of the page, click the SEND button.

How to Transfer Money from PhonePe to Google Pay by Scanning QR code

The QR code method does not require account information or a UPI ID to transfer money from PhonePe to Google Pay.

1. Ask your friend or family member to open the Google Pay app on their phone.
2. Navigate to the Profile Section at the top of the application.
3. Then choose “Bank account” from the drop-down menu.
4. Now, ask them to choose a bank account from which they want to receive funds.
5. Select “Display QR Code” from the drop-down menu. A QR code for Google Pay will appear on the screen. If the recipient is not present, request that they take a screenshot of the QR code and send it to you via WhatsApp.
6. Open PhonePe on your mobile now that you have the recipient QR code.
7. At the top of the app, tap the SCAN symbol.
8. Now, point the camera at the recipient’s phone’s QR code. If you have a QR code screenshot, hit the Open QR code option and then select the Screenshot from your device’s memory.
9. Then type the amount to be transferred and choose a bank account from which to make money.
10. To transfer money from phonepe to google pay securely, enter your UPI PIN.

How to Transfer Money to Bank Account from PhonePe?

You can also send money to someone using PhonePe if they don’t have an app and only know their account number and IFSC.

1. Launch the PhonePe app on your mobile.
2. Tap the “To Account” button from the homepage.
3. Then hit the + icon in the app’s right bottom corner to create a new account.
4. Choose a bank from the drop-down menu, then input the account number, IFSC, account holder name, and phone number (optional).
5. To confirm the account information, hit the CONFIRM button.
6. You can now enter the amount to be transferred and choose which account to debit.
7. Enter your UPI PIN and complete the transfer.
