Infinix Note 8

Infinix has launched another budget range smartphone in the Indian smartphone market. Although the competition is too high in this segment, the Infinix has come up with the latest Infinix Note 8, which is the successor of the Infinix Note 7. With multiple improvements from its predecessor, Infinix Note 8 will surely turn many heady in the vast section to which it belongs. Infinix has loaded this device with Ample RAM and internal storage along with MediaTek chipset and Android 10 based on XOS 7.1. On the front side, the design of Infinix Note 8 resembles with what we have seen in the Infinix Zero 8 and which is not bad at all as it is in line with the company’s current design. The whole front panel is covered by the large Dual Infinity-O Display with thin bezels at the bottom.

On the rear side, it looks that Infinix has run out of new ideas and the company has adopted the current design of Samsung. It appears beautiful and makes Infinix Note 8 different from other devices from this brand. The real panel has been mounted with a square-shaped camera module which is quite large in size and for keeping the backside clean, the additional thing that you will see is the brand name.

One of the major upgrades that you will see in this smartphone from Infinix is that the company has replaced the earlier micro USB with the Type-C charging port. Also, the Dual Stereo speaker has been maintained on the bottom side, as we have seen in the Infinix Note 7 and there is the same side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The Infinix Note 8 comes with a 6.95-inch HD+ Dual Infinity-O Display with IPS technology and the screen is featuring a resolution of 720 by 1640 pixels. The 720P display is the greatest downfall for this smartphone. The 720P display was good in Infinix Note 7, but in Infinix Note 8, there should have been 1080P display. Also, the speculation was that the Infinix Note 8 display will come with 90Hz refresh display but as in Infinix Zero 8, but after the launch, there is no such thing seen in this device.

The Screen to body ratio is 20.5:9 and the contrast ratio has been kept as 1500:1. Apart from that, the display of Infinix Note 8 comes with 480nits of peak brightness.

On the spec sheets, The Infinix Note 8 comes with a MediaTek Helio G80 processor which is the upgrade coming from its predecessor and welcome development. The chipset is clubbed with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 2TB. For handling the graphics, Infinix Note 8 has been stuffed with 950MHz ARM G52 MC2 GPU

The software department is consisting of the Android 10 with XOS 7.1 on the top for running the Infinix Note 8 smoothly and the device is 4G enabled. You will be getting Dual Nano SIM + micro SD and support for Bluetooth as well.
