Infinix Smart 5A Launch in India

Infinix Smart 5A is now available in the market. The firm has released an ultra-low-cost smartphone. The Infinix Smart 5A is equipped with an HD+ display, twin back cameras, a 5000mAh battery, and a MediaTek CPU.  Not only that but the smartphone also packs in a great value for money and some other amazing specs for the price. Let’s take a look at all the offerings one by one. 

Infinix Smart 5A Price in India 

With a 32GB RAM and 32GB internal storage option priced at Rs 7,999, the Infinix Smart 5A is available in a single storage configuration. Flipkart will sell it for Rs 6,499, though, as an initial price. Beginning on August 9, the smartphone will be available for purchase.

Infinix Smart 5A Design

Speaking of the build quality, the Infinix Smart 5A features a plastic back and frame. The rear panel is flaunting a prism flow design and appears quite shiny. Also, there is a fingerprint sensor on the rear along with a rectangular shaped camera module at the top left corner. Coming to the front, there is a v-shaped notch at the centre for housing the selfie camera, while at the bottom, Infinix Smart 5A features a prominent chin. The 360-degree flashlight feature is unique to this device. 

The in-hand feel for users with slightly large hands is going to be awesome with such a large phone and that too at the given price point along with 187 grams of weight, which makes the overall deal quite amazing. 

As for the ports and buttons, the bottom side is exhibiting a Micro USB port, speaker grille, 3.5 mm headphone jack and a microphone. The left edge comes with a SIM card tray and the right edge comes with the power button and a volume rocker.

Contrary to the given price tag, Infinix has given a large display here in Smart 5A, measuring 6.52-inches and flaunts a 90.5% screen to body ratio. The HD+ IPS LCD display is capable of offering very decent colours and brightness is also good enough to provide hassle-free performance both indoor and outdoor.

The performance section of Smart 5A comes onboarded with the MediaTek Helio A20 chipset. This is a slightly old processor and has been featured by multiple budget range smartphones. Here is Infinix Smart 5A running on Android Go, which is not very power-intensive and is capable of providing a clean UI experience.  The Android GO is topped with XOS 6.2 skin. 

Infinix Smart 5A comes loaded with 32GB internal storage and 2GB of RAM when it comes to storage and RAM. There is a dedicated SD card slot for storage extension. 

For photography, Infinix Smart 5A has an 8MP AI Dual-Camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The main sensor is supplemented with a Depth sensor. As for selfies, there is an 8MP selfie shooter, which is also amazing, considering the 5MP camera trend in other smartphones belonging to this price segment.

Infinix Smart 5A comes loaded with a 5000 mAh battery, which is very much capable of providing a full day usage. For refilling the battery, there is a 10W charger included in the box. For connecting the charger, the device contains a Micro USB port, which is quite usual in this price bracket. 

Infinix Smart 5A First Impressions

Infinix has provided a balanced combination of specs at this price point in Smart 5A. There is a large battery, a capable chipset for normal usage and decent cameras. However, RAM could have been more. Overall, you may consider this while looking for an affordable device.
