Infinix Zero 5G Launch in India

Infinix brand has been progressively gaining traction with a variety of feature-rich smartphones available at more than reasonable prices. The company’s newest phone is dubbed the Infinix Zero 5G, which is an interesting choice of name for a phone, but then again, the brand hasn’t always followed normal naming conventions. According to the device’s specifications and the price tag, the Zero 5G is clearly worth a deeper examination. Can it make a dent in the fiercely competitive inexpensive smartphone segment? Let us investigate.

Infinix Zero 5G Price in India

The pricing of the Infinix Zero 5G has been set at Rs. 19,999 for the variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The phone, which will be available in Cosmic Black and Skylight Orange colour choices, will be available for purchase on Flipkart beginning on February 18.

The Infinix Snokor (iRocker) wireless earphones (originally priced at Rs. 999) are available for Rs. 1 (originally priced at Rs. 999) from Infinix and Flipkart to consumers after seven days of acquiring the new phone. There are no-cost EMIs beginning at Rs. 1,667 on Flipkart for the phone, as well. For transactions made using Citi Bank cards, customers may get a discount of up to Rs. 750 right away. Flipkart’s Smart Upgrade on the Infinix Zero 5G costs an extra Rs. 99 for interested purchasers.

Flipkart’s Smart Upgrade on the Infinix Zero 5G costs an extra Rs. 99 for interested purchasers.

Infinix Zero 5G Design

The device’s exceptional workmanship is highlighted by its curving appearance and a velvety in-hand feel, as the lustrous and sleek plastic finish blends flawlessly with the elevated camera housing. The bottom of the phone has a USB Type-C connector, a headphone jack, and a speaker grill, which is a typical pattern among Infinix smartphones. The Cosmic Black colourway features a satin-like contrast that glitters in the sunshine and is sure to attract the attention of just about everyone who sees it. Aside from the fact that the power button incorporates a fingerprint sensor and that the volume sliders are positioned a little higher, the Infinix Zero 5G features a mesmerizing design.

Infinix Zero 5G Display

The smartphone boasts a 6.78-inch TFT LCD screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a resolution of FHD+. These specifications aren’t very noteworthy on their own, since almost every phone worth its salt comes equipped with something comparable. Having said that, We were perplexed by the Zero 5G’s capability for HDR10 video but lack of WideVine L1 certification.

Infinix Zero 5G Performance

The Infinix Zero 5G is powered by the 5G-capable Dimensity 900 SoC, and for the price, We don’t believe there is a better chipset available on the market right now. With 8GB of RAM and an extra 3GB taken from the onboard memory, even the most resource-intensive applications can run in the background without crashing. On the software front, the Infinix Zero 5G runs on Android 11 and there is 128GB of internal storage available in the device.

Infinix Zero 5G Camera

It sports a 48MP main camera, a 13MP telephoto lens with 2X optical zoom, and a 2MP depth camera on the Infinix Zero 5G. It is possible for the main shooter to capture clean images with delicate details that seem oversharpened in shadowed places when the light is bright. While adjusting for light exposure, Auto HDR successfully comes in and lets the blues of the sky permeate into the frame. On the front, there is the standard 16MP selfie camera, which takes overprocessed photographs but, happily, does not alter the skin tones of the subjects.

Infinix Zero 5G Battery

You will receive a 5,000mAh battery, which is common on most low-cost smartphones these days and should last you for many days. It is plenty to get you through a day’s worth of activity, which may include some hours of high GPU usage, surfing social media, and watching YouTube videos, without feeling strained. In order to keep the gadget running smoothly, Infinix has also included a 33W charging solution that can fully charge the battery in around 90 minutes.

Infinix Zero 5G Verdict

The technical specifications of the Infinix Zero 5G are extensive. The smartphone has it all, from a superfast 5G chipset to enormous internal storage. Furthermore, the 5000mAh, 33W Fast Charging-enabled battery, and 8GB RAM of the gadget provides a smooth and efficient experience when using the device.

Questions

Is Infinix Zero worth it?

The Infinix Zero 5G maintains its good looks with a near-flawless design and seamless performance. Unfortunately, given the price of Rs 19,999, the gadget falls short in every other area, including display and camera quality, as well as software execution. The Moto G71, on the other hand, has roughly identical performance metrics while providing a much cleaner UI and a superior photography experience. The Zero 5G's price tag, on the other hand, makes it one of the most processing-focused phones on the market, and you should consider it if you value high performance and a fashionable appearance.
