    About the Phone

Moto E6s looks like most of the recent Motorola phones. It has a few pros and cons:

    • Despite having an unoriginal look, the phone is quite clean-looking.
    • It has a removable battery.
    • The phone has a budget processor which can perform light tasks efficiently.
    • The battery of Moto E6s is decent and can chug for the whole day.

    • The Moto E6s has a dated display with poor colour reproduction.
    • The phone cannot handle intensive tasks.
    • The Moto E6s
    •  takes a long time to charge.
    • The Moto E6s clicks grainy shots with its poor cameras.

The Moto E6s has kept everything within the budget zone. You cannot expect high-performance and immersive display from this set. However, if you are nostalgic about specific features of old phones, like the removable battery, then this phone can feed your nostalgia well.

Moto E6s has all the features that can stir up your nostalgia. Priced at Rs. 7,999, the phone may not attract you with its performance and display, but it can get the necessary tasks done with ease.

Moto E6s has the Moto guarantee of being sturdy and long-lasting. The phone is strictly a budget handset, and so, you do not get anything revolutionary out of it. However, there is a removable battery feature on this phone which makes it nostalgia-stirring.

The Moto E6s has a similar design that most 2019 Motorola phones came with. However, it has both a clean and budget look to it. The phone can be a fingerprint magnet since it is reflective. It is quite lightweight and easy to handle. You won’t feel any discomfort while handling this phone. The phone has a lot of nostalgic value – it has a removable battery, an almost obsolete design feature. The back case has a sturdy build to it. For nostalgics, the phone has a great design to offer.

The phone comes with a large 6.1-inch screen though the device is quite compact. It has a water-drop notch and yet has an 85% screen-to-body ratio which is quite magnificent. The IPS LCD that the phone comes with HD+ resolution with 1560×720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Of course, the display is quite dated and not impressive. The brightness is very low and cannot be used outdoors. The viewing angles are poor as it produces different colours at extreme angles. The colour reproduction of this phone is quite poor.

The Moto E6s gets its power from the MediaTek Helio P22 processor which is paired with 4GB RAM. It is a budget handset which can handle light tasks without slowing down. However, if many apps are opened in the background, the phone can lag. The app-loading time increases as well. You cannot use intensive apps on this phone. Motorola believes that this phone can handle PUBG. While it can run in low settings, there is a lot of lags.

The Moto E6s comes with a dual-rear camera setup. It has a 13MP primary camera along with a 2MP depth-sensing lens. The photos are decent but can be dull. You won’t be able to click vibrant images on this phone. However, the portraits turn out to be okay. Bokeh shots can take about 2-3 seconds to process. The camera performance in low-light is inferior. On the front, the phone arrives with an 8MP selfie camera. The selfies are quite weak, especially in low-light. In ample light, the selfies turn out to be decent.

The Moto E6s has a decent 3,000 mAh battery which is lower than the standard 4000 mAh battery. The battery can last for a whole day due to lack of AMOLED screen. The phone, however, takes a lot of time to charge. It can take over 3 hours to go from 0 to 100%. The phone has a removable battery, so, its best to invest in a battery backup.

The Moto E6s has a low weight with a good battery. The camera is decent, but the performance of the phone is quite poor. The display is dated too. While you do get the Moto brand name attached to this phone, overall, the Moto E6s is not a value for money phone. There are several better phones in the market, like Redmi 7 and Redmi 3i, which can provide better performance at a similar price range. However, for the nostalgic removable battery, this phone can be a great pick.
