Updating the G series smartphones, Motorola launched the Moto G8 Plus in October last year. Moto G8 Plus came after the launch of the Moto G7 and features a special set of cameras and sufficient 4000 mAh battery. The smartphone was launched with Quad Pixel rear cameras and stereo speakers with Dolby Audio. Moto G8 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC and running on Android 9 Pie. The latest smartphone belonging to the G Series includes 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The overall design of the smartphone is excellent.
Moto G8 Plus Price in India
The lone variant of Moto G8 Plus featuring 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage is priced in India at Rs. 13999. The smartphone is available on both online and offline stores for sale. Moto G8 Plus comes in Cosmic Blue and Crystal Pink colours.
When it comes to the exterior design and the arrangement of rear camera sensors, Moto G8 Plus features the same design as Motorola One Macro. The smartphone comes in Crystal Pink and Cosmic Blue colours and supports a polycarbonate body. There is a fingerprint sensor on the rear side of the smartphone with Motorola logo engraved on it. The rear panel is mounted with the Quad Pixel cameras placed vertically along with the flash on the top right side.
On the front side, Moto G8 Plus is designed with a water-drop notch display. The smartphone is featuring a large earpiece grille placed above the display and the headphone jack is placed on the top, while as the USB Type-C port on the bottom side. The right edge is included with the volume rocker above the power button and on the left edge, their lies the SIM Tray.
Moto G8 Plus is featuring a 6.3-inch FHD+ LTPS IPS LCD display, featuring a resolution of 2280 1080for stunning visuals. The smartphone display comes with an aspect ratio of 19:9 and pixel density of 400ppi for providing the cinematic view. The content on the LTPS IPS LCD Display appears crisp and the overall display quality looks high for the price.
The budget-friendly smartphone from Motorola is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 along with Octa-core CPU, offering 2.0 GHz clock speed. For handling the graphics of the smartphone, Moto G8 Plus is provided with Adreno 610 GPU. There is 4GB RAM included with the device along with 64GB internal storage which is expandable through a dedicated microSD card slot up to 512GB.
Moto G8 Plus is running on Android 9 Pie which gives the stock android experience. Some of the additional features included are dual-band Wi-Fi, Dual VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, FM Radio, Satellite navigation system and gyroscope.
Moto G8 Plus is mounted with a Quad Pixel camera on the rear side, featuring 48MP primary sensor with an aperture of f/2.0, Ultra-wide action camera of 16MP with an aperture of f/2.2, depth sensor of 5MP with an aperture of f/2.2 and autofocus module. The rear main camera is capable of shooting UHD video at 30fps, FHD at 120/60/30fps and 720P at 240/30fps. The rear action camera is capable of shooting FHD videos at 120/60/30fps and HD at 30fps. The video software offered by the rear camera include Auto HDR, Timer and Face beauty etc.
On the front side, the smartphone is housing 25MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.0 and Quad pixel technology. The front camera is capable of shooting FHD videos at 120/30fps and HD videos at 30fps. The video software offered by the front camera includes slow-motion video and time-lapse.
Moto G8 Plus comes with 4000 mAh non-removable battery for powering the whole device. The smartphone supports 15W Turbo Charging and is capable of providing 34.4 hrs of talk time, 327.9 hrs of standby time, 14.0 hrs of web browsing, 59.4 hrs of Music streaming, 15.9 hrs of video streaming and 14.6 hrs of GPS navigation.
Moto G8 Plus doesn’t offer all-round performance, but if stereo speakers, good display, decent battery backup and stock Android is something that you are looking for, then you can go with Moto G8 Plus.
