Mark Gurman, a well-known Apple expert and contributor to Bloomberg, first reported the development in his Power On newsletter. Gurman does not mention details, but the MacBook Air 15 will likely resemble the current MacBook Air 13 with an M2-powered processor.

That suggests the forthcoming MacBook Air 15 might have a metal body and a non-touch LED screen. The laptop may have a native resolution of 2560×1664 pixels and 500nits brightness despite having an LED display panel. Wi-Fi 6 networking capability and an enhanced 1080p FaceTime camera could also be added to Apple. Apple might consider incorporating a larger battery with faster charging capability due to the size and shape of a laptop.

Given that the next model is said to have a 15-inch screen, the price may significantly increase. Currently, the M2 SoC and 256GB SSD MacBook Air 13 cost Rs. 1,19,900. The most expensive model has 512GB SSD and costs Rs. 1,49,900.
