Asus fans have been eagerly awaiting the launch of the ROG Phone 7 series, and it seems that the wait may soon be over. The gaming smartphone series is expected to feature the standard Asus ROG Phone 7. Along with the Asus ROG Phone 7D, and the high-end ROG Phone 7 Ultimate model.
Moreover, the Indian variant of the ROG Phone 7 with model number ASUS_AI2205_C was spotted on the popular benchmarking site Geekbench. The listing suggests that the phone will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, with a maximum clock speed of 3.19GHz. Let us know more about the handset in this article.

Geekbench Listing
The Geekbench listing reveals that the Indian variant of the ROG Phone 7 scored 1,958. And 5,238 points in single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. Another version of the phone, with model number ASUS_AI2205_B and the same chipset, scored 2,022 and 5,719 points in Geekbench’s tests.
In addition to the benchmarking results, the ROG Phone 7 series has been spotted on the 3C certification website with model number AI2205_A. The listing suggests that the phone will come with 65W fast charging support. Moreover, it will likely offer a 6,000mAh battery, similar to previous generations of ROG Phones.
Asus Rog Phone 7: Specifications (Expected)
Rumours suggest that the phone will feature a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a full-HD+ resolution. Along with a refresh rate of at least 165Hz. Moreover, it will come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and up to 16GB of RAM. Additionally, it could also get up to 256GB of storage. It may also feature specialised cooling hardware to keep temperatures in check.
However, the company has not made any official announcement regarding the launch date or specifications of the ROG Phone 7 series. However, chances are that the company may release the ROG Phone 7 series in the third quarter of 2023.
