The Honor X40i will be available on July 13, 2022. The debut of the new Honor X-series cellphone in China has been verified by the smartphone manufacturer via the microblogging platform Weibo. Separately, a short video hints at the smartphone’s hole-punch display design and rear camera module. The forthcoming handset is revealed in the video in Rose Galaxy colour with low bezels.
The smartphone expects to include a dual-camera configuration on the back. The smartphone will be out on July 13, 2022, according to a statement on Weibo by the smartphone manufacturer.
The company’s poster (in Chinese) hints that the upcoming handset will have two rear cameras. Starting on the debut day, it will be available for reservations via retail platforms in China.
The advertising video was out on Weibo by tipster ‘factory manager Guan’. The smartphone is featured in the video in the Rose Galaxy colour, featuring a hole-punch display design and low bezels.
Honor X40i Specifications
The Honor X30i was out last October with a starting price of CNY 1,399 (about Rs. 16,400) for the base 6GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration. The smartphone is likely to have improved specifications over the previous model. The Honor X30i features 6.7-inch full-HD+ hole-punch display.
The phone boasts three back cameras, including a 48-megapixel primary sensor. On the front of the Honor X30i is an 8-megapixel selfie camera. It offers up to 256GB of internal storage, a fingerprint sensor on the side, and a 4,000mAh battery with 22.5W rapid charging.
