Apple may introduce its first phone of this year soon. Just a few months back, the company launched its flagship iPhone 13 series. Since then, rumours of the iPhone SE 3 have started doing rounds online. Now, speculations of Apple holding its first event of the year have surfaced, courtesy of Mark Gurman of Bloomberg. Furthermore, according to reports, Apple will be launching the new SE variant in March or April. Although this event, if happening will happen virtually due to the ongoing pandemic.

iPhone SE 3 To Launch in the Event?

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman claims that the 5G model of the iPhone SE may arrive in “just a few short months”. Citing his sources, Gurman says Apple will at least launch the next iPhone SE. This means that while this upcoming event will be meant for the launch of the 5G iPhone SE, there is a high chance that Apple will introduce some other thing, if not any other new hardware.

Although we are still weeks away from this event. The only thing we can focus on right now is the next-generation iPhone SE 3. Meanwhile, reports and rumours of the phone have surfaced quite a lot in the past few months.

From what we know so far, the iPhone SE 3 will most likely offer a new chipset, such as the A14 Bionic or the newer A15 Bionic. This should make the affordable iPhone the most powerful compact smartphone in the world. It will also feature 5G connectivity, making it future-ready for Indian buyers.

Now, other than this, reports of the iPhone SE 3 design is still a topic of debate. Some say that it might have iPhone 8’s design language. Whereas, some claim that it will look like the iPhone XR – with a notched display and a single camera on the back. However, nothing is confirmed as of now on this range. Other features will be similar to the previous iPhone SE, such as TouchID, 3GB RAM, and a single rear camera.
