iQOO 9, iQOO 9 Pro Will Have These Modifications: Read To Know Details

Recently, iQOO teased its iQOO 9 and iQOO9 Pro Indian launch by creating a micro-site for the phones on its official website. However, it was learned that the iQOO9 for the Indian market will be slightly tweaked. Wherein the vanilla basic model for India will be the iQOO8(Chinese model), while the Pro Indian model could originally be the iQOO9(Chinese model).

Leaks: iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro

Now, the tipster Yogesh Brar has revealed that despite the series being rebadged. These devices won’t have the same specs as that of the Chinese models. Brar reaffirms that the iQOO 9 series will be a mix of iQOO8 and iQOO9 models. He reveals that the basic model for India will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC, while the Pro will have Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. He further reveals that the company will eliminate some features and hardware from the phones to keep the cost down.

Regarding the other specs, the iQOO 9 for India, may have the iQOO8(China model) specs. But these will be slightly different. The iQOO 8 has a 6.56-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. It has a 48-megapixel + 13-megapixel + 12-megapixel triple rear camera system and a 16-megapixel selfie snapper. The phone packs a 4,350mAh battery and has support for 120W fast charging.

On the other hand, the Pro model, the rumoured iQOO 9 Chinese model, may come with a 6.78-inch curved LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh and a QHD+ resolution. The iQOO9 Chinese model has a 50-megapixel + 50-megapixel + 16-megapixel triple camera system and a 16-megapixel selfie lens. It houses a 4,700mAh battery and 120W fast charging support.
