iQOO 9 Series Seen On Indian IMEI Database Even Before iQOO 8 Launch

iQOO, the sub-brand of Vivo, unveiled the iQOO 8 series, the latest flagship smartphone lately in China. But before the launch of the iQOO 8 series in India, the iQOO 9 series was spotted in the IMEI database.

iQOO 9 IMEI listing

The iQOO 8 series is the company’s latest flagship smartphone series which comes in two models. The standard iQOO 8 is an upgrade over its predecessor, whereas the iQOO 8 Pro comes with much-improved specs and top-of-the-line innovations. iQOO has not yet launched the devices in India. The company is assumed to launch its flagship smartphones in India later this year. Meantime, the iQOO 9 series is already in the works. An iQOO smartphone, which is the iQOO 9, is listed on the IMEI database.

As per the reports, the iQOO 9 series can be launched by early next year. But moons before the official launch, the forthcoming iQOO 9 series is listed on the IMEI Database. The database also shared the model number of the vanilla variant, which is V2171A. It also confirms the moniker of the device, which will be called iQOO 9. The device with the same model number is also recorded on the Indian IMEI database, hinting that the company will bring the smartphone to India very soon.

The iQOO 9 series has been spotted first time on the web, and the phone could be listed soon on various other certification websites. While iQOO is working on launching the iQOO 8 series in India. The company has not yet confirmed the exact launch date. However, the device is expected to launch in India in November 2021.
