Reliance is bringing Jio Phone 5G to India, as we are hearing about it for quite some time. It also recently surfaced on Geekbench, hinting at some key smartphone specifications ahead of its debut in India. However, the exact launch date of the smartphone is yet to be disclosed. But the rumoured specifications of the new Jio smartphone have already surfaced online.

Jio Phone 5G Geekbench Listing Reveals Snapdragon 480+ SoC
Now, according to rumours, Jio Phone 5G will power on a Snapdragon 480+ SoC and run on Android 12. The rumoured smartphone is listed to feature a chipset, namely Holi. This could be a Snapdragon 480+ chipset powering the smartphone under the hood. Moreover, it can come with an Adreno 619 GPU.
The listing further shows that the Jio Phone 5G scored 549 points in the single-core test and 1,661 in the multi-core benchmark test. The smartphone will run on Android 12, according to Geekbench input. Additionally, it may run on Jio’s PragatiOS.
Additionally, the upcoming device will likely feature 4GB RAM. It may also sport a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. This smartphone might pack a 5,000mAh battery supported by 18W charging. Meanwhile, JioGamesCloud is available on the JioGames app on smartphones, web browsers, and the Jio Set Top Box.

Geekbench Listing Reveals More Specs
Now, the Geekbench listing shows that the Jio Phone 5G has the model number LS1654QB5. It features an octa-core processor with two cores clocked at 2.21 GHz and the remaining six cores clocked at 1.90 GHz. The processor comes with an Adreno 619 GPU. This is the Snapdragon 480+ SoC, Qualcomm’s entry-level 5G chipset.
According to previous reports, the Jio Phone 5G might debut with a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ chipset will draw power from a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. The camera setup on the back can comprise of a 13-megapixel primary and a 2-megapixel secondary lens. On the front, the device may have an 8-megapixel snapper. Connectivity options might include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.1, and a Syntiant NDP115 always-on AI processor.
