Leaks: OnePlus Nord 2 To Be A Rebranded Realme X9 Pro

OnePlus has been gearing up to launch their OnePlus Nord 2 for quite some time now. The Realme X9 Pro is also in the works and has been in a couple of leaks. Also, the Nord 2 will be a direct successor to the OnePlus Nord that launched in India last year.

Although the Nord 2 has not been given any particular launch date, the Nord 2 specifications were in the leaks a couple of days ago. A new leak suggests that the OnePlus Nord 2 will actually be a rebranded version of the Realme X9 Pro Dimensity 1200 variant.

What More?

According to tipster Arsenal on Weibo, Realme is working on two different versions of the Realme X9 Pro. One of the variants for the smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. On the other hand, the other variant will come with the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC.

Furthermore, the Snapdragon variant will come with a curved display with 90Hz refresh rate. Whereas, the MediaTek variant will come with a 90Hz refresh rate on a flat display. Moreover, the tipster also claims that the Realme X9 Pro will launch as the OnePlus Nord 2 in international markets. Also, the Realme X9 Pro Snapdragon variant will launch in the global markets. The smartphone is expected to launch in India as well.

Earlier today, it was also leaked that the Realme X9 Pro would be very similar to the Oppo Reno 6 Pro+. Moreover, if these leaks are true, the three phones could actually be the exact same phones, launched as rebranded versions. Also, it is not surprising as the three brands have the same parent company, BBK Electronics.

OnePlus Nord 2 Specifications

Here is a quick rundown of the OnePlus Nord 2 specifications. The OnePlus Nord 2 will come with a large 6.43-inch AMOLED display. Additionally, it will be a full-HD+ resolution display with a fast refresh rate of 90Hz.

On the processor front, the smartphone will come with the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. Also, this octa-core chipset will be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Moreover, the lower variant of the smartphone comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

For photos and videos, the OnePlus Nord 2 comes with a triple rear camera setup. The setup includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor alongside an 8-megapixel secondary sensor. Additionally, there is also a tertiary 2-megapixel monochrome sensor. On the front, the smartphone comes with a 32-megapixel selfie shooter. The OnePlus Nord 2 will be fueled by a big 4500mAh battery.
