Lenovo is gearing up for the launch of its new gaming smartphone. The company has teased the launch of the Lenovo Legion Y90 gaming phone. The device is expected to launch in February. However, the company has not revealed the exact launch date yet. It is expected to launch sometime during the Chinese New Year holiday season. The Legion Y90 gaming phone is fitted with a 6.92-inch AMOLED E4 panel that offers a Full HD+ resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a 720Hz touch sampling rate. While some reports had claimed that the Legion Y90 has Snapdragon 888 SoC, the new leak claims that it is equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.

Moreover, Lenovo Legion Y90 is likely to be backed by a massive 5,500mAh battery, which may carry support for 68W charging.

Lenovo Legion Y90 may come with up to 18 GB of RAM and it may carry support for 4GB of virtual RAM. It is likely to ship with up to 512 GB of storage. The handset is equipped with a dual x-axis linear motor for haptics.

Previous reports have claimed that the device is equipped with LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and Double Engine Air Cooling technology. The display of the device is equipped with symmetrical bezels. Also, it comes with a top bezel housing a speaker and a selfie camera. However, the Legion Y90 is likely to face competition from other gaming phones such as the RED MAGIC 7 and Black Shark 5 series.
