Motorola finally unveiled its first smartphone in the ThinkPhone series- the Lenovo ThinkPhone, at CES 2023 in Las Vegas. The smartphone aims to offer seamless integration and new business, and security features for ThinkPad users. Moreover, it comes with ThinkShield for advanced mobile security and has military-grade (MIL-STD-810H) durability. It features aluminium frames and is sweat, dust, and water-resistant with an IP68 rating.

Lenovo ThinkPhone: Availability
The smartphone will most likely be available in the US, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, Australia, and a few countries in Asia in the coming months. However, the company hasn’t shared the pricing details of the handset. We expect to get more information on the price and availability of the smartphone in the coming days.
The smartphone comes with a 6.6-inch full-HD Plus display with a centrally aligned hole punch cutout and a 144Hz refresh rate. The company claims that it has Gorilla Glass Victus protection which can survive drops from up to 1.25 meters. Additionally, it has an Aramid fibre back panel and aircraft-grade aluminium frame. The handset comes with a 50-megapixel primary rear camera sensor and a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies and video chats. It features a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC and comes with preloaded mobile apps such as Microsoft 365, Outlook, and Teams. The handset can support 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

Moreover, it comes with Motorola’s ThinkShield for advanced security from malware, phishing, network attacks, and more. Additionally, it has Moto KeySafe, which is a separate processor running on Android, for an extra layer of security. It comes with military-grade durability of MIL-STD-810H and has IPX8 certification. The smartphone can withstand dust and water immersion with a depth of 1.5 meters for up to 30 minutes. Moreover, the handset is to come with a 5,000mAh battery capacity and 68W wired charging support. Additionally, the company claims that it can deliver up to 36 hours of playback time on a single charge.
