Soon, Meta could make more features available to customers who pay. The social media behemoth is establishing a new product organisation to concentrate on “potential paid services”. That is for Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.

Pratiti RayChoudhury, formerly the head of research at Meta, is claimed to be in charge of the unit. Other players in the market are there as well, like Snapchat and Twitter. They already offer the premium Snapchat+ and Twitter Blue services, including several creator-only features.

According to a report by The Verge, Meta will focus on paid services. For Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, creating a new division called “New Monetization Experiences.”

According to the article, Pratiti RayChoudhury, the former head of research at Meta, would serve as the group’s leader.
