Motorola Edge 20, Edge 20 Fusion Set to Launch Today in India: Here’s What to Expect

Motorola Edge 20 and Motorola Edge 20 Fusion will be launched in India starting today at 12 p.m. (noon). The Motorola Edge 20 lineup, which includes the Motorola Edge 20, Motorola Edge 20 Lite, and Motorola Edge 20 Pro, was first introduced in Europe late last month. It will now be available in India with the standard Motorola Edge 20 and the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion, which is likely to be a refined version of the Motorola Edge 20 Lite.

Motorola Edge 20, Motorola Edge 20 Fusion Price in India (Expected)

Edge 20 and Edge 20 Fusion will be launching in India starting today, August 17, at 12 p.m. (noon). The two phones’ pricing and availability will be revealed upon launch, and they will be available for purchase through Flipkart.

According to a new leak, the Motorola Edge 20 would be available in a single 8GB + 128GB storage option for Rs. 29,999. The Motorola Edge 20 Fusion, on the other hand, will be available in two storage configurations: 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB. The 6GB variant is estimated to cost Rs. 21,499, while the 8GB variant is likely to cost Rs. 23,999.

Edge 20 Specifications (European model)

Motorola Edge 20 runs on My UX on top of Android 11. It has a 6.7-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz, 10-bit colour, DCI-P3 colour space coverage, and HDR10+ certification. The phone has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778 5G SoC and has up to 8GB of RAM as well as up to 256GB of storage. The Motorola Edge 20 has a triple back camera configuration that combines a 108-megapixel primary sensor, a 16-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra-wide and macro lens, and an 8-megapixel sensor with a 3x high-resolution optical zoom and 30X Super Zoom telephoto lens.

Edge 20 Fusion Specifications (Expected)

A recent Geekbench listing revealed a Motorola Edge 20 Fusion with 6GB RAM and Android 11. According to the dedicated webpage on Flipkart, the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion will run near-stock Android and will feature 5G. The phone will have a 10-bit AMOLED display featuring a refresh rate of 90Hz. It will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC under the hood. It will include three rear cameras: a 108-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, the phone will have a 32-megapixel camera in a centrally situated hole-punch cutout.
