OPPO has finally launched their A16 model in India. Earlier, on July 17, 2021, the OPPO A16 went official for the India market. From that, we already knew of the smartphone’s specifications. Moreover, it did hint at the India launch of the device being close. Now, after near about two months, the device has finally made it to the India market.
The smartphone is priced at a mid-ranger price segment. Specs include a big 5000mAh battery, triple rear cameras and the MediaTek Helio G35 SoC. Without any further ado, here is a quick look at the price, availability and the complete specs list of the newly launched device by OPPO.
OPPO A16 Price in India and Availability
The OPPO A16 price in India is set at Rs. 13,990 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage variant. When it comes to the availability of the device, it is available for purchase via Amazon India and partner retail stores situated across the country. The newly launched smartphone by OPPO comes in the Crystal Black and Pearl Blue colour options.

The OPPO A16 comes with a 6.52-inch HD+ LCD display. In addition, the display does not come with any sort of a fast refresh rate and we get to see a standard 60Hz refresh rate. On the processor front, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 SoC. The octa-core processor is paired up with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
For photos and videos, the smartphone comes with a triple rear camera setup. The setup includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor alongside two 2-megapixel sensors. These two 2-megapixel sensors are for macro and monochrome shots, respectively. At the front, the device comes with an 8-megapixel sensor housed within a V-shaped notch.
The OPPO A16 is fueled by a big 5000mAh battery. When it comes to software, the smartphone runs on Android 11 OS with the ColosOS 11.1 custom skin on top. The device also packs all the essential connectivity options. Now, these include dual SIM support, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, a headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port for charging. There is also a side-mounted fingerprint scanner which doubles down as the power button.
