Poco C3 Crosses 2 Million Sales Mark in India in Just Nine Months

Poco C3 has sold over two million units, according to the company’s internal data in India. The phone was first launched in India in October of last year. According to the company, the budget handset sold two million units within nine months of its launch. It had previously announced that it had surpassed the one-million sales threshold just over three months after its launch. The MediaTek Helio G35 SoC powers the Poco C3, which includes triple back cameras and a waterdrop-style notch display.

The Poco C3 has sold two million units, which was announced on Twitter. Separately, the Poco Global Twitter account announced that Poco-branded total smartphone shipments had reached 20 million units.

Poco began as a Xiaomi sub-brand in 2018, then in early 2020, it was announced as a separate brand in India. It became a global brand in November of last year, ten months after its Indian subsidiary was split out from Xiaomi. The success of the Poco F1, which debuted as the first phone under the Poco label, helped the brand gain recognition among young smartphone users.

Poco C3 Specifications

In terms of specs, the Poco C3 runs on MIUI 12 for Poco, which is based on Android 10. It has a waterdrop-style notch and a 6.53-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) display. The phone comes with a MediaTek Helio G35 octa-core processor and up to 4GB of RAM. It has a triple-camera arrangement on the back, with a 13-megapixel main sensor. The phone has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chats.

The Poco C3 features up to 64GB of inbuilt storage that can be expandable with a microSD card (up to 512GB). It has a 5,000mAh battery with 10W fast charging support.
