Realme 8i, 8s To Launch in India Soon, Confirms Madhav Sheth

Realme will soon add two new smartphones to its Realme 8 series. There are rumours that the company will launch the Realme 8i, 8s phones as part of its 8 series. However, it will now launch in India soon. In the recent ‘AskMadhav’ episode, the company’s CEO, Madhav Sheth, makes the revelation that the phones will launch in India soon. Although there is no official announcement of the phones as of yet from the brand. On the other hand, some information about Realme 8s is leaking online right now.

Realme 8i, 8s phones coming soon?

According to the company, it will join the existing Realme 8, 8 Pro, and 8 5G in India. In the recent #AskMadhav episode,  Sheth asked fans which one would they like to see first among the two smartphones. However, apart from this, the interview included no other information on smartphones. As of now, the only information we have is on Realme 8s via a recent leak.

According to renders and specifications of a Realme phone, which is apparently the Realme 8s leaked online. In terms of design, the phone has a volume rocker and a SIM card tray on the left and a fingerprint sensor on the right that doubles as a power button. The leaked renders show the Realme phone in a purple hue, which is expecting to be one of the colour options for when the phone officially launches. In addition, it is suggested that the 8s will come with a 6.5-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate and will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 chip. We can expect up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage options. Meanwhile, there is no such information on Realme 8i.

In terms of optics, the Realme 8s may sport a triple rear camera setup that is headlined by a 64-megapixel primary sensor. Details about the other two sensors are unclear. The phone may come with a 16-megapixel selfie camera sensor. Connectivity options on the phone may include a 5G, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack — alongside the usual Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. In terms of battery, the Realme 8s can come with a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. As for the Realme 8i, not much is out. But, it is also expecting to come with a 5,000mAh battery, much like the 8s. But, there are chances that it might only support 4G.
