Realme GT 5G Series Teased in India; Launch Imminent

Realme GT series phones are finally teased to launch in India. In the latest development, Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth has posted an image on Twitter. He is asking fans which smartphone they would want to be launched in India next. The image shows retail boxes of the RealmeGT 5G, GT Neo, RealmeGT Master Edition, and GT Explorer Master Edition. However, one should note that the Realme GT Neo launched in India as the RealmeX7 Max 5G. Moreover, all the other phones have launched in international markets except India.

The teaser image is enough evidence to suggest the company is planning a GT series phone launch in the country. However, there’s no specific timeline mentioned at the moment. Although it isn’t clear whether the company will launch all the models or bring just one Realme GT phone to India, for now. We can expect more teasers to come our way in the next few weeks.

In terms of specifications, the Realme GT 5G is powering by a Snapdragon 888 SoC,. Whereas, the GT Master Edition has a Snapdragon 778G SoC and the GT Explorer Master Edition comes with a Snapdragon 870 SoC. All three phones feature 120Hz refresh rate displays and feature 65W fast charging support. They also pack triple rear camera setups.

Meanwhile, the Realme GT 5G and the GT Master Edition have 64-megapixel primary sensors, the Explorer Master Edition has a 50-megapixel primary sensor. The Explorer Master Edition has a unique back panel design with a leather suitcase-like design. The two Master Edition phones have been designed in collaboration with designer Naoto Fukasawa.

In terms of pricing, it carries a starting price tag of €449 (roughly Rs. 39,400) for the 8GB/128GB model and €559 (around Rs. 49,000) for the 12GB/256GB variant.
