This week, Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi announced the new Redmi Smart TV X 2022 with a 120Hz refresh rate in China. Last year, Redmi launched the Redmi X series of Smart TVs, which quickly grew their own customer base. Redmi’s goal of delivering high-end features at low pricing sparked a lot of interest. On Chinese e-commerce platforms such as TMall and JD.com, the Redmi X series of televisions has been a best-seller. Redmi has unveiled the new Redmi Smart TV X 2022 in China, building on the popularity of the previous generation. It will be available in two sizes: 55-inch and 65-inch.

Redmi Smart TV X 2022 Price
The Redmi Smart TV X 2022 costs RMB 2,999 (about Rs 35,136) for the 55-inch model and RMB 3,499 (roughly Rs 40,985) for the 65-inch variant. The TVs are presently on pre-order in China, with delivery beginning on October 31st. JD.com, Xiaomi Mall, and Xiaomi Youpin all have it available on their website.

The Redmi Smart TV X 2022 comes with a slew of new features, all at an enticing price. Redmi Smart TV X is a full-screen TV made entirely of metal with a full-array backlight panel. The Redmi Smart TV X is available in two sizes: 55-inch and 65-inch. The panels have a 4K resolution of 3840×2160 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel is unique in that it supports 120Hz MEMC, which improves the quality of dynamic objects while also reducing smearing. The panel boasts a 6.5ms response time, 10-bit colour depth (8bit + FRC), and 94 per cent P3 colour gamut support. FreeSync and Dolby Vision are also supported by the smart TV.
As a smart TV, the Redmi TV must have powerful processing hardware. It boasts a 22nm octa-core MediaTek MTK 9650 processor, which is the same as the one found in the Xiaomi Mi TV Master Edition. The MediaTek MTK 9650 is equipped with a quad-core A73 1.5GHz processor and a Mali-G52 2EE MC1 GPU, as well as 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The Redmi Smart TV X 2022 features AI-PQ, AI-AQ intelligent audio, and picture adjustment, and has up to 1T of AI computer power.

4 speakers, 2 air ducts, and a sealed box with a 2×0.38L huge sound cavity with a combined output capacity of 2 x 12.5W handle the sound department. Dolby Atmos is supported by the Redmi Smart TV X 2022. Two HDMI 2.0 (eARC) connectors, one HDMI 2.1 (4K120Hz) port, one AV, one ATV/DTMB, two USB interfaces, one S/PDIF, one RJ-45, and four microphones provide far-field voice on the Redmi Smart TV X.
