Leaks and rumors on Samsung working on a Fan Edition version of the Galaxy S21 series are already rife. The numerous leaks and rumors give us quite a look into Samsung Galaxy S21 FE specs. Although speculations of it launching in August are rife there is no confirmation on the same. Just recently, the Unpacked event is confirmed to take place on August 11th. However, in a recent development, it looks like the smartphone will not be a part of the launch lineup.

According to LetsGoDigital, the debut of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE postponed to a later date. According to rumors, the device will enter the market only in the fall – presumably in October. This is thanks to the Samsung documentation he makes the speculations from. The list of devices does include foldable phones like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, and Galaxy Z Flip 3. There are also a couple of smartwatches – Galaxy Watch 4 and the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic – and the Galaxy Buds 2.

This delay in launch is still a mystery. Previous reports suggest the Galaxy S21 FE delay is due to the ongoing chipset shortage. However, Samsung denied that it is not the case and is not deferring any device for this reason. The company states, “While we cannot discuss details of the unreleased product. Nothing has been determined regarding the alleged production suspension.” This suggests that the device is still in the works, and it may mean that the company already has a launch event scheduled.

According to the US FCC listing, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE could support 25W and 45W fast charging. The Geekbench listing showed the phone with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, and 8GB of RAM. Earlier leaks suggest it will feature a 6.4-inch Full-HD+ (1080×2400 pixels) Super AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will sport a triple rear camera setup comprising a 12MP main shooter, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 64MP telephoto sensor. On the front, there will be a 32MP selfie snapper. The handset should offer support for Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, 5G, and a Type-C port for connectivity.
