Vivo Y20A Vs Realme C15: Complete Comparison

Vivo just launched its latest budget smartphone offering, Vivo Y20A. It also comes in direct competition with Realme C15. The latter comes with a beefy battery and it is tagging itself as a budget smartphone offering by the company. Moreover, both the companies are touting them as affordable smartphones in the market.

In turn, it can make the decision making harder for people interested in them. So, to help you – here is a detailed discussion of the specs and price of both smartphones.

Vivo Y20A vs Realme C15 Specs: Compared

Both of them are practically offering the same specs on the display. The former comes with a 6.51-inch HD+ (720 x 1600 pixels) IPS display. Whereas, Realme C15 comes with 6.52-inch (720 x 1600 pixels) HD+.

Again, when talking about their software – they run on Android 10/11 and their own custom skins on top of it. Vivo’s offering runs on Android 11-based FunTouch OS 11. Whereas, Realme C15 runs on Android 10 and comes with the Realme UI on top.

In terms of processor, Vivo Y20A powers on the Snapdragon 439 SoC. However, Realme C15 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 processor.

The former comes with 3GB RAM onboard, along with 64GB of internal storage. On the other hand, C15 has 2 storage variants: 3GB RAM/32GB and 4GB RAM/64GB.

Vivo Y20A has a triple rear camera setup that includes a 13-MP primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture, a 2-MP bokeh lens with f/2.4 aperture, and another 2-MP macro lens with f/2,4 aperture. Whereas, C15 features a quad camera setup on the back. It houses a 13MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP monochrome sensor, and a 2MP “retro” lens.

Meanwhile, the front cameras for Vivo Y20A consist of a 8MP sensor. Whereas, 8MP sensor is a part of the Realme C15 front camera.

Another difference point is seen in the batteries of the phone. Y20A is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 10W charging. Compared to, Realme C15’s 6,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.

Both the devices feature a fingerprint sensor on the back. They also support face unlock technology. Both Realme C15 and Vivo Y20A still hold the older micro USB port for charging and data transfer.

Pricing Comparision

Vivo Y20A comes with a price tag of Rs. 11,490 in India for the lone 3GB + 64GB storage model. Whereas, C15 is selling for Rs 9,999 for the 3GB RAM/32GB storage variant and at Rs 10,999 for the 4GB RAM/64GB storage variant. 

On the other hand, Vivo’s new offering comes in two color options – Nebula Blue and Dawn White. Whereas, the latter comes in Power Blue and Power Silver color options.
