WhatsApp Might Let You hide ‘Last Seen’ From Specific Contacts

WhatsApp has been rolling out several new features to its users, including Communities and emoji responses. In addition, an upcoming feature in Meta’s messaging platform would allow users to hide their “last seen” status from select contacts, according to WABetaInfo’s latest report. According to reports, the functionality is being tested in the newest beta version of WhatsApp for iOS.

WhatsApp users will now be able to restrict their ‘Last seen’ status to just a select group of people, precisely as they can do with status. The “Privacy” settings in the app are where you’ll find this option. Navigate to the “Last Seen” category and choose the desired choice from the following: Everyone, My Contacts, “Nobody,” and “My Contacts Except”. Of course, you won’t be able to view the last seen of the unversed if you deactivate it for specific contacts.
