WhatsApp Rolls Out All New Features: WhatsApp Photo Editor

The Meta-owned (formerly Facebook) messaging application Whatsapp rolls out three new features: desktop photo editor, sticker suggestions and Preview link options. While the other two features are for mobile applications, the photo editor is only available for web versions.

The desktop photo editor allows users to edit their images before sending them. WhatsApp introducing the new features stated We know feeling comfortable expressing yourself is an important part of why people use WhatsApp to keep in contact with their friends and family.” It also added “Over the past few months, we have made a few changes to WhatsApp to answer some of your feature requests and to keep giving you the best experience,”

WhatsApp took to Twitter to share a sneak peek into its three new features. The features include a Desktop photo editor, sticker suggestions, and preview links.

Sticker Suggestions: It is similar to getting suggestions of using emoticons while sending messages, but the new feature will give you recommendations for stickers according to your conversations. 

WhatsApp Desktop Photo editor: Earlier, users could send their images directly from the gallery via the application and make the essential changes of cropping, rotating, adding emojis or stickers and text. With the help of the desktop photo editor feature, users can now do the same changes via the WhatsApp web.

Preview links: The preview link option will provide more information about sending the link to the sender and the receiver. It will also help you to know about the link beforehand to ensure you avoid clicking on malicious links.
