The company stated that Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada will be supported in a press conference conducted on the platform. French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazilian), and Spanish are among the other languages as part of the localization feature. On its blog, the company said, “It has honestly amazed us that people in so many countries have managed to come together to do this on an app that only supports English.”

Meanwhile, Clubhouse has changed its app symbol to include Mumbai-based Anirudh Deshmukh, making him the first Indian to do so. Clubhouse’s app symbol updates on a regular basis with photographs of platform users. Deshmukh, a vocalist who delivers a nightly show called “Late Night Jam” on the social audio platform, is the most recent addition to the icon. For October, the app featured Mandiie Martinez, the creator and owner of the Chingona AF club for the Latin community.

During the press conference, the firm revealed that the typical user spends 70 minutes per day on the app; but that it did not have a country-by-country breakdown. Paul Davison, the firm’s founder, also explained the company’s moderation tools and claimed that the company will work on new features for user safety on the app; while also adding that there was no single solution to combating abuse on the platform. Co-founder Rohan Seth also mentioned that the app was focusing on improving discovery algorithms. This will assist users to find better content on the platform, and add features like categories and Universal Search.
