Finally, the Xiaomi Pad 5 will be available in India. 91mobiles has learned exclusively via tipster Yogesh Brar that the Xiaomi Pad 5 will launch in India on the same day as the Xiaomi 12 Pro flagship phone. Moreover, this will be the company’s first tablet to release in India in a long time. This forthcoming tablet will release with Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 12 Pro.

Xiaomi’s tablet is already available in China and other parts of the world. It will now launch in India. It’s available in two colours: Cosmic Gray and Pearl White. Xiaomi has only announced the debut of the Xiaomi 12 Pro in India on April 27th but has teased the launch of numerous items without naming them specifically. The Pad 5 is likely to have a stylus and keyboard attachments.

Specifications of Xiaomi Pad 5
The tablet includes an 11-inch WQXGA display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz sampling rate, Dolby Vision, HDR10, TrueTone True colour display, and TUV Rheinland reduced blue light hardware scheme certification as some of the features.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 CPU with Adreno 640 GPU powers the tablet. It has 6GB of RAM and a storage capacity of up to 256GB. In addition, the Pad 5 comes pre-installed with Android 11 and the MIUI 12.5 custom skin. It weighs 511 grams and measures 254.69×166.25×6.85mm. The battery is 8720mAh and supports 33W fast charging.

In terms of optics, the tablet offers a single 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video chats. The tablet features quad speakers, Dolby Atmos, and USB Type-C audio. 5G, 4G LTE (optional), dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB Type-C are among the connectivity options.
A Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro model is also available, which comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC and Adreno 650 GPU. A 13-megapixel main camera and a 5-megapixel are included in the Pad 5 Pro Wi-Fi variant. The 5G variant, on the other hand, has a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 5-megapixel. On the front, it boasts an 8-megapixel selfie camera and an 8,600mAh battery with a 67W fast charging ability.

Price
The tablet costs RMB 1,999 (Rs 24,000) for the 6GB + 128GB Wi-Fi model and RMB 2,299 (Rs 27,600) for the 6GB + 256GB Wi-Fi variant in China. The Xiaomi Pad 5 pricing in India is expected to be somewhat lower than the prices in China.
