Samsung Galaxy F41 has a glass front and a plastic back which sandwiches the plastic frame of the device. On the back of the phone, we have the triple-camera setup with an LED flash, the fingerprint sensor, and the Samsung branding on the bottom. On the front, we have a 6.4-inch display with a U-shaped notch for the front camera to reside in. On the right side, we have the volume buttons and the power button. On the bottom, we have the USB Type-C port, the loudspeaker, the microphone, and the good old 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Galaxy F51 comes in Fusion Black, Fusion Blue, and Fusion Green color options. The device weighs over 191g and is 8.9mm thick.
The screen on the Samsung Galaxy F41 is a large 6.4-inch 1080 by 2340-pixel Super AMOLED display with Samsung’s Infinity-U design with an O-shaped hole-punch cut-out for the front camera. The display is capable of producing over 16M colours and has a screen-to-body ratio of 84.1%. The display has a pixel density of 403ppi and has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. There is mention of the brightness of the display to peak at 420nits which if true, will make this phone easy to use in direct sunlight. Samsung did not mention the presence of any fast refresh rate on the device which directly points towards a standard refresh rate on the display of Galaxy F41.
Under the hood, the Galaxy F41 is having the Exynos 9611 octa-core processor. It is built on a 10nm process with maximum clock speeds of up to 2.3GHz. There are options of 64GB and 128GB of UFS2.1 internal storage with provision to expand up to 512GB via the dedicated microSD card slot while there is a single memory option of 6GB RAM.
The Galaxy F41 runs on the Android 10 with Samsung’s own OneUI Core 2.1 layered on top of it. This will provide with an ultra-clear user interface with no scope of any third-party apps or bloatware as you see in other affordable segment devices.
The camera department on the Galaxy F41 is handled by the triple-camera setup on the back and a single camera on the front.
The triple-camera setup consists of a 64MP sensor with PDAF enabled, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with 123˚ field of view, a 5MP depth sensor for the bokeh shots. Features like LED flash, panorama, HDR are also available in this setup. The video output from this camera setup is rated at 4k at 30fps.
The front camera is a 32MP wide sensor with HDR enabled and video output of 4k at 30fps.
The main USP of the Galaxy F41 is its battery capacity. This phone is powered by a humongous 6000mAh Li-Po battery. The included power adapter provides up to 15W of charging which is advertised by Samsung to fully charge this device from 0% to 100% in 160 minutes. Samsung claims the battery can provide up to 48 hours of calling, up to 26 hours of video playback, up to 21 hours of browsing, and up to 119 hours of music playback.
Samsung has lately produced many great smartphones with good specifications. But the same old design and a strange pricing pattern may confuse the consumer. But Samsung Galaxy F41 is a great device for the ones who need good performance paired with a battery to make it last a long time on a single charge. In conclusion, this smartphone is a great buy for those looking for a mid-range smartphone with a budget to stick to with the trust of a brand value.
