Earlier Samsung tablets weren’t that impressive, the main culprit being a dated chipset making the internals weak thus ruining the multitasking experience. But it now seems that Samsung has focussed on its Tablet line-up too and improved it to compete the much-loved Apple iPad portfolio. After Cupertino giant Apple announced its 2020 iPad Pro, Samsung didn’t lag behind and unveiled the much-rumoured Galaxy Tab S6 Lite.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite Specifications
The Tab S6 Lite flaunts a massive 10.4-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 2000×1200 pixels. The panel quality is not great, but it wasn’t expected either as Samsung offered AMOLED panels on the costlier non-Lite variants only. A good to know stuff, the Tab S6 boasts a 2560 x 1600-pixel Super AMOLED panel. The Tab S6 Lite, just like the Tab S6, does get S-Pen support which gets bundled with the Tab. There is no area to store the S-Pen but users can invest in a cover with a dedicated spot for the S-Pen.

Powertrain also gets a downgrade, as we now get an Exynos 9611 SoC chipset under the hood paired with 4GB of RAM. The chipset is the same that we get on the Galaxy A51 and Galaxy M30s. You do get to choose between 64/128GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 1TB. Connectivity options include dual-band GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C and 3.5mm audio jack (Luckily!).
The camera also gets ‘Lite’ as we now get a single 8MP shooter on the back, compared to a dual-camera setup (13+5) on the original Tab S6. At the front is a 5MP selfie camera for selfies and video calling.

Battery department is very good with a massive 7,040mAh cell juicing the tablet, making the total weight of the Tablet to 467 grams. The Galaxy Tab S6 also gets the same 7040mAh battery capacity, but with 15W Fast charging support.
Although Galaxy Tab S6 Lite launch didn’t reveal any pricing, Argos listing reveals that Galaxy Tab S6 Lite launch price will start at £339.00 in the UK for the 64GB Wi-Fi model. So, stay tuned to Cashify for more updates about the price and availability of same.
