Vivo released its affordable Vivo X50 Lite in May 2020. The phone arrives with a colossal 6.38” FHD+ display paired along with Snapdragon 665 chipset. The phone runs on Android 10-based Funtouch OS 10. The phone launched recently is available in a single storage configuration i.e. 8+128GB at around Rs 28,990/-.
Vivo X50 Lite Price in India
Vivo X50 Lite is launched in Australia and is available for purchase on almost all the online retail stores including JB-Hifi at a price of 499AUD. Vivo X50 Lite price in India is not announced and there is no news on the availability of this device in India.
Talking about the design, Vivo X50 Lite is indeed a higher mid-range specification which is also reflected in its design elements. The front has a waterdrop-shaped tiny notched display with reduced bezels although with a considerably thick chin. Flip the phone and you’ll find an interesting and glossy back panel with a quad-camera setup in a diamond camera bump and a Vivo branding on the bottom half.
Vivo X50 Lite sports a giant 6.38-inch AMOLED panel with 83.4% screen-to-body ratio, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 1080×2340 pixels resolution with the ordinary 60hz refresh rate. All these specifications make the display a great feature on-board Vivo X50 Lite. There’s also a front and back glass with an unspecified Corning Gorilla Glass protection or its equivalent.
Vivo X50 Lite is power-packed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 11nm SoC which has a max frequency at 2.0GHz. It is backed with an Adreno 610 GPU and arrives with 8GB of RAM, 128GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage capable of expanding using the shared SIM slot.
Vivo X50 Lite runs on the latest Funtouch OS 10 (Based on Android 10).
Talking about the camera, Vivo X50 Lite sports a quad-camera setup at the back arranged in a rather interesting diamond pattern that looks pretty dope. It features a 48MP primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.8, and a sensor size of ½.0” with PDAF. It is flanked with an 8MP ultrawide sensor that arrived with f/2.2 and finally, there’s a 2MP depth and macro sensor for portrait and close-up shots with an aperture of f/2.4. The rear camera setup is able to shoot 1080p videos at 30fps.
On the other hand, the front is a beautiful front camera setup with a decent 16MP sensor that arrives with 1.0micron pixel size that can video at 1080p at 30fps.
Vivo X50 Lite features a giant 4,500 mAh Li-Po non-removable battery which without any doubt will provide a battery life of at least a day even on heavy to moderate usage. It has an additional provision of dual-engine fast charging. The phone is packed with 18W fast charging tech that will save a tonne of your time juicing the battery to its full capacity.
Although Vivo X50 Lite offers a mid-range Snapdragon 665 chipset on-board, it does have a bunch of shortcomings such as its cameras are decently powered and not something you would be extremely impressed with. Vivo X50 Lite sports 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage, the phone does manage to attract masses with its rather unique diamond-shaped rear camera setup and competent specifications at affordable pricing.
