Whereas the original model was released in March 2022 and costs Rs. 19,999. In this article, we are gonna compare the two phones in detail.

In terms of display, both phones are almost the same except that the old model has a higher screen-to-body ratio making its screen size a bit bigger. Apart from that everything is the same.

Both phones have exactly the same battery and the same charging capabilities. No changes were made by Infinix in its 2023 model.

Seemingly it looks like Infinix downgraded its camera a bit in its 2023 model. As the older model had a 48-megapixel camera accompanied by another 13 MP & 2 MP camera. Whereas in the newer model, it’s just the 50-megapixel camera with another two 2 MP cameras.

The 2023 version of the Infinix Zero 5G has an improved processor and chipset from MediaTek. Although the GPU is the same in both models.

Both phones are available in three different colours and have the same Bluetooth and WLAN connectivity features. Also, one more point to note is that both the phones don’t have any water resistance rating so they are not waterproof.
From the above comparison of Infinix Zero 5G 2023 vs Infinix Zero 5G we can see that there is not much difference between them. One was launched in March 2022 and the other in December 2022. They only have minor differences in price, screen-to-body ratio and processor. Although the camera of the older model was better in my opinion. Nonetheless, both are great budget smartphones under Rs. 20,000.
