Honor X7 Launch in India

The Honor event in Malaysia served as the world premiere venue for the Honor X9 5G, but the firm also presented three more smartphones during the event. The Honor X7 is the most reasonably priced smartphone in the collection, and the manufacturer installed a Snapdragon 680 CPU inside it. The battery within the gadget has a capacity of 5,000 mAh and is compatible with 22.5W SuperCharge.

Honor X7 Price in India

The Honor X7 has a starting price of MYR 699, which converts to around $165 for the variant with a single 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Beginning on April 14, customers may purchase the phone in either Blue or Silver through the official website of the firm, as well as via Lazada and Shopee.

Honor X7 Design

It looks and feels like a high-end smartphone thanks to Honor’s introduction of the model with a gorgeous design. This is silky to the touch, with delicate light reflections, and it has a “whispered” appearance to the eye. Even though the rear cover and body are comprised of plastic, they are very well-crafted. Within the photographic chamber are two holes that have been cut out in the shape of a pill. These holes are intended to hold the lenses.

Considering its pricing, the Honor X7 boasts an impressive display. It sports a 6.74-inch IPS Lcd panel with 16 million colours, a 20: 9 aspect ratio, an 84 per cent screen-to-body ratio, and an HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. This may be a sore point. There was a definite need for FullHD. 

Honor X7 Performance

Processor-wise, the X7 is powered by a Snapdragon 680 Mobile Platform. It is neither the most recent nor the quickest CPU available, but you should be aware that this processor was purpose-built for lengthy multimedia play and, as a result, delivers a gaming experience that has been tuned.

The HONOR X7 has 4GB RAM that is combined with 128GB of storage space. If there is a need to do so, the RAM is equipped with HONOR RAM Turbo, which can convert 2GB of ROM to RAM. Magic UI 4.2 is pre-installed on devices running the Android 11 operating system.

Honor X7 Camera

Under the display, there is a screen cutout in the shape of a notch that houses the front-facing camera. The 8-megapixel front-facing camera shoots decent self-portraits, but there’s nothing particularly noteworthy about them. The back quad camera setup includes a primary camera with 48 megapixels, a wide-angle camera with 5 megapixels, a macro lens with 2 megapixels, and a bokeh lens with 2 megapixels. The images taken with the HONOR X7 are, on the whole, not very impressive, but this level of performance is to be anticipated from a budget-friendly smartphone like this one. The quality of the video recording is good, however, it is somewhat wobbly while the camera is moving. Despite this, the sounds are recorded quite well.

Honor X7 Battery

The charging speed is satisfactory while using the Type-C Wired connection and the 22.5W HONOR SuperCharge adapter that are both included in the package. If you did not use the charging adapter that came with the smartphone and used any old Type-C cable instead, it will take you more than two hours to completely charge the 5,000 mAh battery that comes with the device.

Honor X7 Verdict

Despite having a CPU that is considered to be “less powerful,” the X7 operates quite smoothly and performs fairly adequately, giving the impression that it is priced lower than it really is. The X7 has a mediocre quad camera setup, and although it is capable of shooting some excellent photographs at night, it will suffer if you don’t utilise the night mode while you’re taking photos in low-light environments. Having said that, the HONOR X7 is an excellent all-rounder for the price, making it a wonderful alternative for anyone who is looking for something that is both economical and capable of doing everyday tasks.
