Released in May 2016, HTC One M9 Prime Camera is another one of HTC’s attempts to stabilize its teetering financial situation and capture a wider segment of the market.
The phone weighs 158 g, has a thickness of 9.6mm, and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with MediaTek MT6795 Helio X10 (28 nm). It has a metal body and features a 5.5-inch display, with a Super LCD3 capacitive screen that comes with Corning Gorilla Glass. It has a 4 MP, f/2.0, 27mm (wide) front camera and has a 13 MP, f/2.0, 28mm (wide) rear camera with autofocus and optical image stabilization (OIS). It measures 5.69 x 2.74 x 0.38 inches, has a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, and has a non-removable 2840 mAh Li-Po battery. It also has a PowerVR G6200 GPU for a good gaming experience.
Pretty similar to HTC’s One M9s, the One M9 Prime Camera simply differs from it in terms of a new camera set-up with a lower-end SoC, and less RAM and onboard storage. Truth be told, it is not one of the most popular phones of HTC. With One M9, One M9s, One M9 Plus also in the market, people are bound to get confused between the three.
Also, plenty of phones in the same bracket as that of One M9 Prime Camera offer far better features (and are good for bragging purposes). There is simply no wow factor when you read about the phone. To find out if it is true for you or not, read below for a review of HTC One M9 Prime Camera.
