Infinix GT 50 Pro vs Infinix GT 30 Pro: Design And Display

Similarly, both models have customizable RGB LEDs on the back, but one upgrade is here: dual pressure-sensitive zones (Gaming triggers) in the Infinix GT 50 Pro, while the Infinix GT 30 has Pressure-sensitive zones (Gaming triggers).

This device has special buttons that respond to how hard you press them. There are 10 sensitivity levels, so you can press lightly or hard to do different things. You can also slide your finger on these buttons to make even more actions happen.

Both phones have the same 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. You will also get the same 2304Hz PWM, and 700 nits (typ), 1600 nits (peak), 4500 nits (peak) brightness. So, Infinix put the same specs in the display, no practical change here.

Infinix GT 50 Pro vs Infinix GT 30 Pro: Camera And Battery

In this section, we have two deffrent story. In terms of the camera, the Infinix GT 50 Pro has a downgraded 50MP wide sensor and an 8MP ultrawide sensor. While the Infinix GT 30 comes with a 108MP wide-angle and an 8MP rear camera sensor. So, you will definitely see a noticeable difference in the image results. However, the front camera remains the same at 13MP in both models.

In terms of battery, the Infinix GT 50 Pro comes with a 6150mAh capacity and supports 45W wired and 30W wireless charging. So, it can easily last almost a day on a single charge. Infinix GT 50 Pro vs Infinix GT 30 Pro: Performance And Software

Performance is the main talking point of both, especially for gamers. Which one should you choose? On the hardware side, the GT 30 Pro has a MediaTek Dimensity 8350, while the GT 50 Pro has a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate. Infinix GT 50 Pro also offers a better Antutu score of 1,808,355, while GT 30 Pro reaches 1,538,799 points.

One of the major upgrades that the GT 50 Pro comes with is UFS 4.1 type storage, and the GT 30 Pro comes with 4.0 type storage. It’s important to focus on improving efficiency and faster access to data rather than just trying to double speeds.

Even though both have the same maximum data transfer speed, UFS 4.1 is around 15-20% more power-efficient. It also works better for AI applications and has improved random read and write speeds. This means that in some cases, it can transfer files or load content up to 50% faster.

Both devices have special shoulder buttons called GT Trigger controls. The GT 50 Pro offers more features, including pressure-sensitive controls, more ways to customise, and shortcuts that work across the whole system. Infinix GT 30 Pro is simpler, focusing on basic trigger areas and colourful RGB lights.

The GT 50 Pro also comes with smart gaming tools that can automate some actions and make your game more responsive. It has a special Esports mode that helps you avoid distractions so you can focus on your game.

The GT 30 Pro uses a standard cooling system that supports charging while playing. In contrast, the GT 50 Pro has a HydroFlow Liquid Cooling system with a small pump that helps cool more effectively and a larger heat sink to let heat escape. It even supports an external cooler that connects to the phone’s chip, reducing heat right at the source.

These features highlight a significant difference between the two devices, especially during long gaming sessions, where overheating can slow performance.

While software experience is the same, both models have XOS 16 and are upgradeable for future updates.

    Verdict

The Infinix GT 50 Pro is clearly the better pick if gaming is your top priority. It brings meaningful upgrades with a newer Dimensity 8400 chipset, improved cooling system, larger battery, and smarter gaming-focused software features that actually improve long-session performance. While the GT 30 Pro still offers strong value with its lighter design and better 108MP camera, the GT 50 Pro feels like a more polished gaming flagship rather than just an iterative upgrade.

If you want better sustained performance, future-ready software, and battery life, spending extra on the GT 50 Pro makes sense. However, if camera output and budget matter more than peak gaming features, the GT 30 Pro remains a practical choice. Overall, the GT 50 Pro is built for serious gamers, while the GT 30 Pro is still a balanced option for mainstream users.
