iQOO Neo 3 5G is a powerful gaming-centric phone expected to arrive in India in early July at around Rs.29,990/-. This will make the iQOO Neo 3 price stand at a tough competition from Oneplus, Vivo and Samsung who have great offerings in this budget.
iQOO Neo 3 5G is a slightly bulky phone due to its 8.9 mm thickness. Talking about the design, the front has tiny bezels accompanying a vibrant display. At the back, the phone sports a good-looking triple camera setup arranged in a protruding rectangular camera bump and an iQOO branding at the bottom. The rear panel is flushed with vivid colours and reflection at angles that make the colours pop-out. There are volume rockers to the right along with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner that doubles as a power button as well.
iQOO Neo 3 hosts a giant 6.57-inch IPS LCD panel with an 84.0% screen-to-body along with 402 PPI density thanks to its 1080×2408 pixels resolution. The display is HDR10 ready and comes with an unbelievable 144Hz refresh rate. The display has a punch-hole to the top-right to accommodate the primary selfie shooter. Along with it, the front has tiny bezels although it is not entirely gone so bare with it.
Proceeding with the specifications under the hood and performance, iQOO Neo 3 G runs on the most powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset manufactured on 7nm+ node with its high-performance core clocked at a whopping 2.84GHz. The chipset is flanked with Adreno 650 GPU, up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage that enables the device to single-handedly perform strenuous tasks without breaking a drop of sweat metaphorically.
Proceeding to the cameras, iQOO Neo 3 5G does manage to bring a powerful camera on-board but you need to know that it is a gaming-centric phone. The rear triple camera assembly packed in a 48MP primary sensor (0.8micron pixel size, PDAF, an aperture of f/1.8) along with an 8MP ultrawide sensor (1.12micron pixel size, f/2.2 aperture) and a 2MP macro camera.
The rear camera is capable of shooting videos at 4K resolution at 30fps while 1080p videos are associated with gyro-EIS. When it comes to its front camera setup, it sports a 16MP shooter with an aperture of f/2.0 capable of shooting HDR videos at 1080p@30fps.
iQOO Neo 3 is a budget-friendly flagship smartphone so expect it to sport the best battery capacity no doubt. It features a huge 4,500 mAh Li-Po battery. The battery is tagged with a 44W fast charging tech that is capable of juicing up the battery to 100% in just 58 minutes thanks to Super Flash Charge 2.0.
If you are going to buy iQOO Neo 3 5G, go through if you are looking for a gaming-centric phone in a tight budget. The phone brings the most powerful Snapdragon 865 SoC paired along with a hefty 4,500 mAh battery, up to 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage and a lot of beef. Also, the cameras are pretty average and not something you can vouch for. This should help you decide whether to buy it or not based on your pre-requisites.
