Apple MacBook Pro First Geekbench Scores are Out! Here’s how Fast they are.

Apple launched their redesigned MacBook Pro on October 18, 2021. Additionally, they also launched their third generation AirPods during the Apple Unleashed 2021 event. The new Apple MacBook comes with the new M1 Pro and M1 Max chipsets. In the event, the company claimed that their new chipsets offer 70 per cent improved CPU performance. They also went on to state that the chipsets also deliver up to four times better GPU performance compared to M1.

Now, the Geekbench results of the newly launched Apple MacBook Pro is finally here. From the looks of it, the latest notebook by Apple definitely performs very well. Here is a quick rundown of the results!

Going by the Geekbench listing, Apple’s M1 Max chipset scores 1749 in single-core test. In addition, the chipset scores a staggering 11,542 points in the multi-core tests. Now, when talking about the scores, the multi-core tests of the M1 Max chipset is double the score of Apple’s M1 chipset.

According to a report by MacRumors, the M1 Max outperforms all MacBook chipsets. However, it does not outperform the Mac Pro and iMac models that are powered by Intel’s high-end 16-24-core Xeon chipsets.

The Apple MacBook Pro price in India for the 14-inch model starts at Rs. 1,94,900. On the other hand, the 16-inch model starts at Rs. 2,39,900 in the country. Customers can choose from a variety of different variants and either the M1 Pro or M1 Max chipset models.

Moving to the Apple MacBook Pro specs, it features either a 14-inch or 16-inch Liquid Retina XDR display. We get to see improved connectivity options alongside a better camera. Getting into the specifics of it, the newly launched notebook comes with three USB Type-C Thunderbolt 4 ports, an SD card slot and an HDMI port. We also get to see a superior 3.5mm headphone jack alongside a 1080p camera.

Talking about the battery backup, it offers the best battery of all MacBooks, according to Apple. The redesigned Apple MacBook Pro 14-inch variant offers up to 17 hours of video playback. On the other hand, the 16-inch model offers up to 21 hours of video playback. The MacBook also comes with fast charging support and claims to charge by up to 50 percent in just 30 minutes.
