    Dizo Star 500: What Else?

Realme has recently launched their first sub-brand called Dizo. Moreover, the company also confirmed that the brand would launch a ton of IoT products. Besides, the Dizo GoPods and Dizo Watch were also spotted on the company’s official website recently. Additionally, the Dizo Star 500 and 300 features phones have been in the leaks recently as well.

The Dizo GoPods and Dizo Watch are just rebrands of the Realme Buds Air 2 and Realme Watch devices. On the other hand, the Dizo Star 500 and Star 300 will be targeted at people who want a secondary phone for calling purposes. Moreover, we do know how old things have a habit of coming back. This is no exception. Feature phones do give off a sense of nostalgia and maybe Realme is bringing this back with Dizo.

Tipster Mukul Sharma has revealed on Twitter that a Dizo phone has now received its Bluetooth Sig Certification. The model number of this phone is listed as DH2002. Going by the FCC listing of this device, it belongs to the Dizo Star 500. The fact that the feature phone is bagging all the certifications hints at an imminent India launch.

The FCC listing of the Dizo Star 500 and 300 revealed some core specifications of the device. DIZO Star 500 is expected to come with a large screen when compared to other feature phones in the market. Also, there will be the conventional physical keypad just below the display. Additionally, the feature phone will also come with dual-SIM capabilities.

However, do not expect to see 4G like on the Jio phone. The connectivity is restricted to just dual-band 2G. The feature phone will pack a big 1,840mAh battery. That is actually a lot going by the fact that it is just a feature phone. We can also expect to see a microSD card slot for expansion.

On the other hand, the DIZO Star 300 design is more on the simpler side of things. The Star 300 will come with a tiny screen and a physical keypad below it. However, there is a large speaker grille which hints at the presence of loud music quality. The feature phone will also come with a single camera housed in a rectangular module at the back. Moreover, we can also expect to see a brand new OS for these upcoming feature phones.

The Dizo Star 300 also comes with dual-SIM 2G slots like the Star 500. However, it will pack a bigger 2,500mAh battery. The FCC listing also reveals that these are production units which means that the launch of the handsets is right around the corner.
