iQOO has officially unveiled the new iQOO Z5 5G in China. This new smartphone is a successor to the already available iQOO Z3 with some upgrades. On the other hand, the device will launch in India soon on September 27, 2021. The device will go on sale on Amazon post its launch in India, the company has also confirmed. Meanwhile, rumours suggest that the device will price itself under Rs. 25,000 in India. Let’s take a look at the price, specs and other details revealed in China:
iQOO Z5 5G comes in three storage options, with the base model of 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage available at CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs 20,500). The device also comes in an 8GB + 256GB option and a 12GB + 256GB storage configuration, priced at CNY 2,099 (roughly Rs. 23,900) and CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs. 26,200), respectively. It comes in three colours – Twilight Dawn, Blue Origin and Dream Space.

iQOO Z5 5G Specifications
It sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with a centre-potioned punch-hole cutout. In addition, it has a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The display comes with features like up to 650 nits brightness, HDR10, and a 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution.

Under the hood, the phone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC. iQOO Z5 5G has up to 12GB of RAM under the hood with up to 256GB of internal storage. There is a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging out of the box.
In terms of optics, iQOO Z5 5G has a triple-camera setup on the back, with a 64-megapixel (f/1.79 aperture) Samsung ISOCELL GW3 primary sensor with LED flash, an 8-megapixel wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The device offers a 16-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video chats and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.

Furthermore, iQOO Z5 5G runs Android 11-based Origin OS for iQOO out of the box. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone comes with a USB-C port, 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, etc.
