Back in December 2021, OnePlus unveiled its plans for the “Unified OS”. This is a merger operating system between OnePlus and OPPO but, now the brand seems to have different plans for its OnePlus 10 Ultra. Recently, the brand announced its Open Ears Forum for its OxygenOS 13. With the Unified OS being nowhere to be found since its announcement, OxygenOS 13 has definitely taken away the spotlight.

So, is OnePlus 10 Ultra going to run on OxygenOS 13. Popular YouTuber and Tech enthusiast TechDroider also believes the same. He basically believes that the upcoming handset will have a Snapdargon 8 Gen 1 and OxygenOS 13 combo. This is easily understood from the title of his video itself. OnePlus 10 Ultra will Run on OxygenOS 13?
Talking about their Open Ears Forum and the OxygenOS 13 announcement, the forum post reads as, “This is one of the biggest topics we’ve brought to Open Ears Forums to date, so don’t miss this chance. Your feedback will be instrumental to shape one of our most important OS updates.” The rational thing to derive from this announcement is that we will not see the Unified OS in action anytime soon.

With the OxygenOS 13 getting hyped up left, right and center already, it is clear what the brand’s primary focus is on. Besides, the brand officially hints at the OxygenOS 13 being the next custom skin that OnePlus users will receive. All of it does hint at the much anticipated OnePlus 10 Ultra to run on OxygenOS 13. Besides, TechDroider also talks about how the OnePlus 10 Pro was the only smartphone to clash against the Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max in terms of performance.
Having said that, he believes that the OnePlus 10 Ultra will hopefully be on a different league on its own. If that is indeed the case, we are definitely looking at an ultra-flagship killer. Only time will reveal the utmost potential of the handset.
