Despite several reports, the company has officially confirmed that the OnePlus 11 will be equipped with the most recent Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. When introduced at Qualcomm’s Summit in Hawaii, the chipset will have several changes for quicker and better performance.

Yesterday, Qualcomm unveiled the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and the first smartphone powering it will be the OnePlus 11.

Moreover, several other smartphone makers have also collaborate with Qualcomm to release devices running on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. iQoo, Honor, Motorola, Nubia, Redmagic, Redmi, Sharp, OPPO, Sony, Vivo, ZTE, and Xiaomi are a few examples of these OEMs.

According to an earlier this year rumour, OnePlus may release the smartphone in some capacity before the end of 2022. That’s significantly ahead of plan; the OnePlus 10 Pro has been available in China since January and worldwide since March.

Specifications of OnePlus 11

The smartphone will have a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 3216 pixels, a pixel density of 526ppi, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Furthermore, its bezel-less display is additionally protected by Corning Gorilla Glass v6 and has a refresh rate of 120Hz.

Additionally, the device might include a 50-megapixel primary, a 48-megapixel ultrawide, and a 32-megapixel telephoto sensor. There might be a 32-megapixel selfie camera at the front.

According to rumours, the smartphone will have up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Furthermore, the phone is likely to come with Android 13 top with the company’s proprietary OxygenOS 13. The forthcoming company phone might have a 5,000mAh battery with support of 100W fast charging.
