Oppo Pad Might Launch in India Early 2022: Leaks

For quite some time now, reports and rumours have surfaced online suggesting that the Oppo Pad is in the works. If it is confirmed, it will most likely be the first tablet to launch from the OPPO brand. However, no confirmation from the company has come out yet. To recall, its’ sister brand Realme also launched a Realme Pad earlier this year. So, chances are the company is also following the footsteps and launching one of their own. Although, it is probable that if OPPO Pad will first launch in China.

Now, in a recent development, 91mobiles has learned exclusively from tipster Mukul Sharma that the OPPO Pad will indeed release in India. Read on to know more about its’ India launch timeline:

According to the information from tipster Mukul Sharma, OPPO is gearing up for the launch of its tablet(s) in India as well. The brand is currently planning to launch its first tablet in India in the first half of 2022. Although he has not clarified whether its going be the same model as the one which will launch in China. We can expect the OPPO Pad to launch in India sometime H1 2022.

OPPO Pad Specifications (Leaks)

According to Digital Chat Station, it will feature an LCD display to make it cost-effective. The tablet will have a 120Hz screen refresh rate. Additionally, the camera details of the upcoming tablet was also revealed. It is tipped to feature a 13-megapixel primary camera on the back and an 8-megapixel shooter on the front for selfies and video calls. Moreover, he also hinted that the tablet might retail around CNY 2,000 which is around Rs. 23,300.

Furthermore, other details suggest that OPPO Pad might power on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. With these specs, we can expect it to be high-end tablet as compared to budget offering. On the software front, the tablet may run on ColorOS 12 based on Android 12 out of the box with some interesting tablet-specific customization options. Rumours also suggest it might offer quick access to apps, as well as Home Screen widgets. It may also offer continuity features that offer seamless switching between the tablet and other Oppo devices.
