Poco is now all set to launch the Poco F3 GT in India. The company hasn’t revealed an exact release date other than that the phone will arrive in Q3 of 2021. The rumors say that Poco F3 GT is a rebranding of the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition.
The smartphone will have the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC, according to a teaser video posted by Anuj Sharma, Director of Poco India. The Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition is powered by the same processor, implying branding.
The company is yet to announce the launch date for the POCO F3 GT. Though we can anticipate the company to reveal its features in the weeks running up to the event.
POCO F3 GT specifications (expected)
The Poco F3 GT may have a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. A faster 480Hz touch sampling rate, 500-nits peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection with an FHD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) resolution. According to reports, it’ll have the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC to power it, along with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The Poco F3 GT would likely have a triple camera layout on the backside. It’ll come with a 64-megapixel main camera with a 1.65 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 119° field of view, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. There’s a 16MP selfie camera on its front.
A 5,065mAh battery with 67W quick wire charging capabilities should be there. If it’s a rebrand of the K40 Game Enhanced Edition, it’ll come with dual stereo speakers featuring Dolby Audio and JBL tuning. The phone will run MIUI 12.5, which is based on Android 11.
