The successor to the Poco M3 Pro 5G, the Poco M4 Pro 5G, could be launched in the global market in the coming weeks, as well as in India. The smartphone 5G was recently discovered on numerous certification sites like EEC, 3C, IMEI, and TENAA, revealing that it will include 33W fast charging, a MediaTek processor, and more.

According to information shared with 91mobiles by tipster Mukul Sharma, the Poco M4 Pro 5G could be released in late October or early November globally; with the smartphone expected to hit the Indian market soon after.

The upcoming Poco was recently discovered on certification sites; revealing the device’s model number as well as several key specifications. On these certification websites, the Poco M4 with model number 21091116AG was observed. Let’s take a peek at the next Poco smartphone’s leaked specifications.

Leaked Specifications

The Poco M4 Pro 5G is reported to have a 33W fast charger. This is an increase on the Poco M3 Pro 5G‘s 18W fast charger. The phone is also claimed to be powered by a MediaTek chipset, exactly like its predecessor. Given the 5G name, it’s likely to be powered by a Dimsnsity series chipset. The previous Poco M3 Pro 5G is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor.

According to sources, the phone will include a 64MP primary camera, and a 5,000 mAh battery. Also, it will be available in two configurations: 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB. The smartphone will come with MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 and will subsequently receive the Android 12 update.

It’s also worth noting that, it’s usual for Chinese smartphone manufacturers to avoid using the number 4 in their phones; since it’s considered unlucky, Poco appears to be defying tradition with the Poco M4 Pro.
