Moreover, PUBG Mobile India had also posted an official new trailer on its YouTube channel last week. Although it is now private and not publicly available. Currently, there are no details around when the company will launch the ‘Battlegrounds Mobile India’.

To recall, PUBG Mobile India was banned by the Indian government along with 117 other Chinese mobile apps back in September 2020. Many are waiting for the game since then. Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology explained that it had received many complaints from various sources. Especially, around the misuse of some Chinese mobile apps that are available on Android and iOS platforms for stealing and transmitting users’ data in an unauthorized manner to servers located outside India.

The company will assure the Indian government that it follows all the security protocols necessary to protect the data of Indian users. In addition, it will have to address other concerns that were raised around the game during its ban last year.
