The booming fitness tracker market is about to gain a new competitor: The Realme Band 2. With the leaks confirming a BIS certification associated with the model number RMW2010, the band has moved a step closer to its launch. The product recently spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification has heated up the fitness tracker market with speculations around the Realme Band 2 launch date.

REALME BAND 2 SPECIFICATIONS
While very meagre details were shared, the latest addition to the family of fitness tracker Realme Band 2 features a 1.4-inch large LCD display. The band itself would be 45.9 x 24.6 x 12.1mm in dimension with a removable strap. This detachable strap is newly designed with a pop in charger support. The upcoming addition has stepped up the expectations with a supposedly paced up Sp02 Monitor alongside the regular Heartrate sensor and the various exercise modes. It also might feature Bluetooth 5.1.

Launched in March 2020, Realme Band paved the way for a fight against Mi band, a fitness tracker by Xiaomi. Packed with a battery of 90mAh, Realme Band came with a 0.96-inch TFT screen. The straps were made of TPU material, giving them longevity. It boasted of tracking 9 activities, including swimming, running, cycling etc. It also featured a sleep tracking system. The fitness tracker weighed meagrely 20 gms. With these features setting a base and an uptick in fitness tracker competitors, Realme Band 2 needs to serve the growing needs to get a foothold in the market.

The Smartphone Brand, Realme made its name in the Indian market in 2018 by being the No. 1 emerging brand. The Indian market has been receptive to its products, especially Realme Earphones, which has left quite a mark. While the features haven’t been confirmed, but Realme Band 2 price in India may hold up around Rs. 2000 – 3000.
