Realme is getting ready to release the Realme GT Neo 4 5G with a top-tier Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. A move from the current Realme GT Neo 3’s mid-tier chipset, according to a rumour that surfaced before the device’s introduction in China. The GT Neo 4 will reportedly outperform its predecessor. It is the Realme GT Neo 3, in terms of specs, when it debuts in China the following month.
Specifications of Realme GT Neo 4
The GT Neo 4 has been rumoured to have Qualcomm’s newest and best silicon, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile computing platform, ahead of its introduction next month. This is a change from the mid-range SoC, the Realme GT Neo 3. The Dimensity 8100 CPU from MediaTek was integrated within the GT Neo 3.
The leak source, Digitial Chat Station, also claims that the upcoming GT Neo 4 will have a 1.5K display. This equates to a panel with a 1220p resolution. This indicates that the display panel for the GT Neo 4 will be crisper than a standard 1080p screen. The display technology will achieve up to 2160 steps of PWM and a high refresh rate of 120Hz. The PWM rating indicates how many auto-brightness settings there are.
The GT Neo 4 will offer 100W fast charging, placing it between the two GT Neo 3 versions’ 80W and 150W fast charging rates. The GT Neo 4 aims to compete with devices like the forthcoming Xiaomi Redmi K60 smartphone with a mix of these specs.
