Samsung has recently launched a bunch of different devices in both the flagship and budget mid-ranger segments. In the flagship segment, we have the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3. On the other hand, the budget segment has witnessed the recent launch of the Samsung Galaxy M32 5G and the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G. Now, the company is working towards introducing its Samsung Galaxy S22 series of flagship devices in India. Now, in a recent leak, hints about Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra having an add-on feature is surfacing.

Galaxy Note series may not launch next year

To recall, Galaxy S21 Ultra is the first smartphone in the S series to come with the support for S Pen. However, unlike the Galaxy Note smartphones, Galaxy S21 Ultra does not have any space to store the S Pen. But it looks like it might not be the case with Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. Now, the tipster Ice Universe suggests that the upcoming Galaxy S22 Ultra would come with a slot for the S Pen. This might end up replacing the Galaxy Note for once and all.

Furthermore, the design of the Galaxy S22 Ultra will allegedly look like the Galaxy Note series. However, he did not mention how or shared any images. According to the tipster, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will have an aspect ratio of 19.3:9. This is as compared to Galaxy S21 Ultra’s 20:9 aspect ratio. This suggests that the S22 Ultra will be wider, like the Galaxy Note devices, probably making room for the S Pen. Furthermore, the corners are expected to be much less rounded than the previous generation Galaxy S series.

We will only know for sure next year though. We can expect the series to launch around late January 2022. But it looks like the Samsung Galaxy S22 series might end up taking the Note series off the table/
